Our Story

In 1981, I fell in love with the most beautiful girl I had ever laid eyes on while on tour in Houston, Texas. Truly love at first sight, there was an immediate connection, I knew I had found my ‘soul mate.’

She said {yes} on Christmas eve, 1982, and we were married in July of 1983. We spent our first two years together on the road touring. Teri always by my side. We loved traveling, me playing music and us being together. Waking up in a different place every few days, and meeting so many amazing new friends along the way. In the summer of ‘85, I left the band and we moved to New York near Teri’s family. 

We both took jobs in advanced technology, being there at it’s mid-80’s conception. Teri as a graphic designer/creative director at one of the top advertising agencies in the world, and I managed and consulted in digital print and technology for several high end companies on the East Coast. We worked 12 hours a day, 7 days a week. Stress? Oh yeah.

Then in April of 1989, Teri was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. Life, love, how long? Given the thought that we may have only a year left together, everything changed. We resigned from our managerial positions to spend every moment we had left together. We both started freelancing for the companies we had left, but on our own time scale. Teri started an herbal program and we changed our way of eating and exercising. Two major surgeries, 10 months of treatments, and tons of hope and faith in our love.

During this time, I did what I do best, I wrote music.

Uplifting music to make her feel positive as she awoke each morning. Light and delicate music for balance as she rested in the afternoon. Relaxing and calming music when her stress and pain were high to give her peace. Soothing and comforting music to help her to fall asleep at night.

The music was to heal my heart and soul, as much as her own.

Somewhere along the way, healing, recording, loving, living, we survived. We were healthier, happier and more in love with life, family and friends than ever.

In 1993, I built a private studio designed for my love of acoustic and classical guitar, and began to record the music I had been composing over those past several years. Music designed to inspire, to heal, and to relax. It worked for us, and we wanted to share it!

So here we are, on the road again, together like we were in the very beginning. Meeting great new friends that inspire us each and every day, finding a new location where nature, art, music and love all come together to create that perfect place on earth.

And we find that place every weekend with each and every one of you. 

So our hope is that our story and our music will inspire each of you in some way...
